I’m just about to close escrow on my first house in two days. I ended up having a horrible experience with my first lender, so switched to American Pacific Mortgage and Jen was my loan officer. Best decision ever. She has a hands on approach to managing the loan process (mine was a little complicated with lots of very tight deadlines). She was super responsive, timely, and patient when I had questions, helped me meet all my deadlines on time, and got me into my first house! An absolute pleasure to work with. We started with Jen almost 2 years ago. We were looking to refi for a lower rate but we were so far into our loan that a refi wouldn't have made much sense. Instead of just trying to make a quick buck and process the refi, she took the time to explain why a refi at that time wasn't in our best interest. It's that kind of integrity is the reason why we came back for other transactions down the road. A year later she helped us do a cash out refi so we could remodel. She also helped us figure out how much we could afford if we bought a different house. She was amazing with it all! Refi and then later a sale and purchase. The only person I ever want to work with in the future is Jen!

Quick and easy process

I have worked with Jen on two separate occasions on obtaining a mortgage. She is up front on the details and very responsive to questions or other issues that came up, while making the mortgage application process easy. Jen's advice on when to borrow enabled me to get a very low rate during a refinance of a mortgage. She is very responsive and uses all forms of communication to stay in touch. Jennifer went above and beyond with a typical lender would have done. She spent countless hours assembling all the paperwork we needed in order for our VA loan to be approved. She worked outside of regular business hours on numerous occasions, providing her actual cell number for us to contact her within seconds. This being an international transaction made it that much more difficult. We were able to complete every step virtually and with limited resources being on a military base overseas. We have used Jen a couple of times. The last time she was able to find us a fantastic rate on a 15 year mortgage. She found us a rate lower than others came back with and we haven't personally heard of others with lower rates than we currently have. There may be some but we refinanced our 30 year mortgage for a 15 year mortgage at a good time. She is able to locate more lenders than the banks and many others.
